foxylilalley asked:
hunting seasons? I got 2 rifles 1 shot gun and 1 revolver. What is each type of gun used for and do I need to worry about it back firing. My father has 25 acreas for me to hunt on I five foot two 105lbs. Should i shot a gun while pregnant? I live in Allen texas so where do I take it so I can carry the revolver with me.
is no body going to tell me what the other hunting seasons are?
Seriously what are the hunting seasons?
We aren’t rich I only spent $842 that nothing much. And the 25 acreas only cost daddy 125,000 cash
Nobody ever of backfire when you shoot and the bullet goes backwards and shoots you instead of going forward.

Dont worry about backfire…
NEVER SHOOT WHILE PREGNANT!\\\!!!!!!
NO NO NO NO NO
Do not shoot while pregnant unless you life SERIOUSLY depends on it.
Some might say there is no proof that it could harm your child but seriously… you wanna risk it?
You will need a lot more than four guns.
The two rifles depends on what size that the type of game it can bring down the shotgun be used basiclly for everthing squirrels, rabbits , deer ,mice and just about everything else the revoloer can be used for deer and other large game still with the rifles depends on size.
Hey just talk to your dad about it. That’s what parents are for.
By the way 25 acers is not good for hunting on.
Wow! Y’all must be rich….four guns at once!!!? Why don’t you just ask your Daddy about the guns?
Don’t shoot a gun while pregnant unless absolutely necessary (for defense)….that’s just common sense sweetie.
You are such a silly funny woman, you make my sides hurt! Quail season, wabbit season, bha hahahaha
And no, don’t hunt while you are pregnat.
You’ll likely be able to get a pamphlet with all the local hunting seasons in it when you get your hunting license. Have you had your hunter safety course? It’s generally a requirement to get the license.
The caliber of the rifles and revolver and the choke and guage of the shotgun will determine to an extent what you can use them for.
I’ve been shooting over a half century, and I have no idea what you mean by “backfiring.” Engines backfire; guns don’t.
And despite all these non-medical people, trust me: the only reason not to shoot during a normal pregnancy is if the acreage is so remote you’d have difficulty getting to the hospital if need be.
Twenty-five acres isn’t much to hunt on, so you may want to introduce yourself to the “neighbors.”
Good luck, be safe, and have fun!

Dont listen to all the banter about not hunting whitle you are preg. Thats is ultimately up to your doctor. BUT, I know that many docs will tell you it is ok as long as you arent using a firearm capable of moving your entire body while recoiling, so leave the 10 gauge, the .338 Ultra Mag, and the .500 S&W at home. A bigger concern is inhalation of powder smoke, especially at the range, as it contains acute levels of lead and many other carcinogens.
Reloading is also a concern while preg.
Hunting, as long as it does not strain you, and with 2 kids already I am sure you knwo when you have over done it!, should be perfectly safe.
Just make sure you arent going alone, and that your hunting partner is capable of draggin the big game for you!
If you are interested in hunting first read as much as you can. Pick one season and focus on that for now.
