If I have a handgun, a rifle and a shotgun, do I need more guns, will Obama take them from me?

Burnt Bagel asked:

I feel all gunned up, I can target shoot,, hunt deer and blast ducks, with the option of using any of them to blow away a pesky home invader.

Just wondering how Obama would keep me from purchasing and of these firearms, or would prevent me from keeping any of those firearms?

Biden supported the Clinton Assault Weapons Ban
    Obama supports bans on handguns
Obama endorsed a 500% increase on rifle ammunition
Obama supports “reasonable restrictions”…. though he gives no CLEAR answer as to what (or who) defines “reasonable”

I don’t know if you ever have enough guns.

He may try and make it more difficult to purchase a gun, which I’m fine with because too many psychos are getting guns too easily (VA. Tech shooting)
    but he can’t take them.

And word of advice, don’t shout “reloading” Then they’ll know you’re empty. ;)

OBama cannot do a damned thing, the Supreme Court just ruled that it was legal, to own and to have a fire arm concealed, in the nations capital (Washington DC area)
If you are worried about it, buy a cross bow more deadly at close range.

Actually, it depends on where you live.

Obama wants guns to be controlled on a local level and not on a federal level. Also, he believes gun laws should be more stringent in larger cities than in the boon docks.

So if you’re in the desert or on a farm, you’re probably okay to buy as many guns as you want. If you live in the city, you’re probably safe as long as you have all the right licensing and paperwork for your guns.

Republicans ALWAYS say that democrats want to take away guns, but it never happens because to say that is just republican propaganda. Don’t worry as long as you remain safe and legal, you’ll always be able to have guns.

Obamarx will approve any of the little hits on our rights that come across his desk. Remember how they stopped smoking on airplanes? It was not all at once.
It started with a small No smoking area, then it grew to a small smoking area, then no smoking on flights less than 2 hours, then no smoking on domestic flights, then finally no smoking on all flights.

Sure smoking is bad but the method is the same, outlaw a small bit at a time, wait until the public gets comfortable then outlaw a bit more.

    Don’t let this ever happen.

Look up his voting record from his senate days in illinois. He doesn’t like guns in the hands of American citizens, period. You may feel “all gunned up”, with three guns, but the problem is with him trying to impose ANY laws against law-abiding citizens. Taking guns away from law-abiding citizens does not take guns off the street. He pushed for legislature to ban ALL handguns, laws limiting citizens to buying only one firearm a month, and now he is planning to reinstate the “assault weapons ban”, which statistics show, did nothing to curb gun violence. What it did do was limit the rights of law-abiding citizens.

And from the hunter aspect of it, there is a preferred caliber for each big game animal, i don’t shoot deer with the 300 win mag i use to hunt elk, or the 338 for moose, and small game is different as well.

It doesn’t need to be any more difficult, OR expensive for me to buy firearms. They do a background check, and i pay the 25 dollars. And they get the same information every time. Criminals don’t go through a background check, and don’t pay the money, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT GET THEIR GUNS THE SAME WAY AS I DO. Making the laws harder only effects the law-abiding citizen. There should be NO restrictions on law-abiding citizens.

And as for the supreme court decision… we need to keep close watch on that situation, because obama is in a position to put as many as three “hand-picked” replacements in the supreme court, thus stacking the deck in the favor of gun hating control.

    Taken from obama change.gov website.
Address Gun Violence in Cities: Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.

They are still claiming there is a gunshow loophole, even though to buy a gun at a gunshow, you have to have a background check, and pay the money.

Obama might pass bills to restrict the possession of firearms or even make them more difficult to purchase. But one thing is for sure… he cannot obliterate the Constitutional Right to bear arms.
