Drum/Soccer Freak asked:

Im looking for a 20 gauge and ive seen some tactical shotguns but i dont really know if i can use them for hunting?
So what is a good gun that is under $300 preferably?

A Remington 870 would be a great choice and it is within your price range.

I’m not a gun dealer so I don’t know prices; but there is a brand new Mossberg 410 pump on gunbroker.com with a buy it now price of $236. I’m guessing you could probably expect to get somewhere between $150-200 for your used one.

Remington 870 pump is hard to beat. It is incredibly reliable and a GREAT bargain. In my opinion it offers the most bang for the buck. I hav owned one for over 10 years and have never had a problem with it. I have hunted deer, duck, goose, and turkey with it. I would recommend going with a 12ga over a 20ga for duck hunting purposes. You can find a 870 super mag which will shoot 2 3/4, 3 aind 3 1/2 shells in full camo for 307 at wally world and 309 at academey sports. The regular 870 mag will shoot 2 3/4 and 3 inch and in black not camo it should run you about 250$ or less.

I would go for a used Remington 1100 in 12 gauge. It is great for hunting and skeet shooting for practice.
I don’t think 20 gauge is legal for deer hunting in New Jersey.

Yes that’s a good one.* He should be able to get a minimum of $199.95 for that 410 gauge.*
